Teaching Assistant Levels 2 & 3
In order to meet the school’s current requirements we are looking to recruit into a variety of L2 and L3 positions. These hours are available immediately and would be temporary until August 2020, although there may be potential for some hours to become permanent from September. Part-time hours can be accommodated.
The positions would cover a variety of tasks including working in 1:1 supporting roles with pupils who have different levels of need (as detailed in their Education Health and Care Plans). There is scope to support small groups of children, providing them with opportunities for pre-learning and over-learning of key vocabulary and concepts. You would also be given the opportunity to adopt a range of strategies to establish a purposeful learning environment, promote good behaviour, and provide targeted support to enhance learning and improve attainment.
You will need to share our commitment to support the school’s most vulnerable pupils. In return, you will be offered opportunities for shadowing existing staff and developing your own skills in this area.
