Rainbow Tulips!

Our CPS Green Team have been out planting bulbs around the school over the past month.

As well as snowdrops, daffodils and crocuses, children have planted rainbow tulip bulbs!  These will hopefully flower into the seven colours of the rainbow next summer - keep an eye out near the pedestrian entrance to school.  Our rainbow tulip bulbs have been donated by Lincolnshire-based Bakker-Spalding Garden Company (www.spaldingbulb.co.uk).

Daniel, Year 4, writes:

We pulled out the weeds and scattered the bulbs on top of the soil.  Then we planted them using a trowel outside the School Office.

Riley, Year 3, added:

Today the weather was horrible but we still planted our tulips!
