15.25 hours per week (5 afternoons, 3.25 hours per afternoon)
In order to meet the school’s requirements we are looking to appoint two additional Level 3 Teaching Assistants on fixed term contracts, with potential for these to become permanent roles.
These positions are to work in a 1:1 supporting role with an EYFS pupil who has an Education Health and Care Plan. You will need to share our commitment to support the school’s most vulnerable pupils, including those with social communication difficulties. Prior experience in this area is desirable.
You will be offered substantial opportunities for shadowing existing staff and developing your own skills in this area. These are exciting roles for those who relish the challenge of supporting all children to achieve.
The positions are temporary until 31st August 2020, with possible scope to become permanent if the L3 hours continue to be required from September 2020.
Candidates will be required to liaise closely with Class Teachers, the SENCo and external support services in order to carry out all support identified for the pupil.
