15 hours per week (5 mornings, 3 hours per morning).
In order to meet the school’s requirements we are looking to appoint an additional Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract, with potential for this to become a permanent role.
This position is to work in a 1:1 supporting role with a KS1 pupil who has an Education Health and Care Plan. You will need to share our commitment to support the school’s most vulnerable pupils, including those with social communication difficulties. Prior experience in this area is desirable.
You will be offered substantial opportunities for shadowing existing staff and developing your own skills in this area. This is an exciting role for those who relish the challenge of supporting all children to achieve.
The position is temporary until August 31st 2019, with possible scope to become permanent if the hours continue to be required from September 2019.
Candidates will be required to liaise closely with Class Teachers, the SENCo and external support services in order to carry out support identified for the individual.
