1 x 15 hours per week (5 mornings, 3 hours per morning)
In order to meet the school’s requirements, we are currently looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
You will need to share our commitment to delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum (which we believe is the entitlement of all our children, regardless of background or ability) and be tenacious in your support of the school’s most vulnerable pupils.
The successful candidate may be asked to work in a 1:1 role, supporting pupils who have Educational Health Care Plans. The position is temporary until 24th July, 2018.
Candidates will be required to liaise closely with Class Teachers, the SENCo and external support services in order to carry out the support programmes identified in the EHCPs.
At Cottenham Primary School, we are committed to providing the best possible education so that all our children thrive and achieve. We believe our children, families, staff and governors are of equal value and we respect and appreciate the diversity they bring to our school community. Through our policies and practice, we strive to foster positive relationships and a shared sense of belonging and we challenge any inequalities or barriers that exist. We welcome our duties under the Equality Act 2010 to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Visits to our school are encouraged and welcomed. Please telephone the Office to book a visit or request an application pack. Application forms can also be downloaded from the school website at www.cottenham.cambs.sch.uk.
